Blauberg UK Supports Rehabilitation at HMP Stocken

Making a difference at Stocken

Following on from Kärcher UK's success, Blauberg UK are working in partnership with HMP Stocken to deliver a practical training and employment initiative aimed at reducing reoffending and improving post-release employment prospects.

As part of its wider commitment to social responsibility, Blauberg UK is providing inmates with structured training in the assembly of domestic ventilation products. The programme is designed to equip participants with tangible, transferable skills that are in demand across the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Participants engage in carefully designed training that mirrors real industry practices, with the opportunity to gain recognised certification in areas such as assembly line operation, basic supervisory duties, and, in future phases, nationally recognised qualifications.

Reducing Reoffending Through Industry-Aligned Training

The aim is to ensure that on release, individuals are better prepared to secure long-term employment and reintegrate into the community with purpose and direction.

The initiative is in line with broader national efforts to tackle skill shortages while reducing the social and economic impact of reoffending. It provides an environment where inmates can build confidence, discipline, and a clear route towards sustainable employment.

Graham Slade - Managing Director from Blauberg UK said:

“We believe in supporting practical solutions that benefit both individuals and the wider community. By offering structured training that reflects the needs of modern industry, we’re helping to build pathways to real jobs and reducing barriers to rehabilitation.”

Shaping Futures: Collaborative Rehabilitation Through Skills and Opportunity

This initiative is rooted in a shared commitment to equipping individuals with the practical tools and support needed to transform their lives.

HMP Stocken has played a key role in enabling this transformation by providing a secure, structured setting for meaningful rehabilitation.

The programme demonstrates the powerful outcomes that can be achieved when public institutions and private organisations work together toward a common goal.

Blauberg UK is excited to build on the programme’s early achievements and is eager to explore similar initiatives in other institutions throughout the UK.
