Semi rigid MVHR ducted systems lend themselves very well to ducted ventilation system fitted into houses, flats, apartments and commercial ventilation projects . They are especially suitable for air tight or Passivhaus heat recovery ventilation systems in buildings due their unique flexibility and versatility. If your project requires fitting a heat recovery ventilation system int small tight spaces indicative of retrofitting into houses, apartments and flats or you require larger acoustic boxes with multiple air duct connections then we have a solution.

Blaufast Semi Rigid Radial Duct System is BRE approved, a recognised Building Regulation Part F system for domestic ventilation systems and help to achieve low energy consumption and higher thermal efficiency from your chosen heat recovery ventilator.

Normally, only two air manifold distribution boxes are required; one for the hot, humid stale air extracted from bathrooms, toilets, kitchen utility room and wet rooms. It is best practice to use an insulated box to aid the removal of condensation. And a supply air manifold box for supplying fresh, warm air with heat recovered from your mvhr ventilator that is delivered to your living areas.

Additional manifold boxes can be used. All connections are made with simple push fit connectors that fit directly to the connection ports to each box. Please ensure that any unused ports are capped off with Blaufast manifold blanking caps.
