Advanced Control for Superior Performance:

The Blauberg Thyristor Controlled Electric Post Heater is designed for seamless integration into your ventilation system. It works in conjunction with an air handling unit equipped with a control system, allowing precise temperature control within the supply duct. The heater maintains the air temperature at a set point determined by the unit controller, ensuring comfort and efficiency.

Efficient Temperature Control:

These heaters come equipped with a power cable and a signal cable for connection to the air handling unit controller. Temperature control is achieved through a triac power controller, which regulates the full load by switching it on and off. Load commutation is efficiently managed by a semiconductor device (triac). Additionally, the heaters are equipped with overheat thermostats for safety. There's a main overheat protection with automatic reset at +50°C and emergency overheat protection with manual reset at +90°C.

Robust Design for Durability:

The casing, junction box, and heater cover are constructed from galvanized steel, with heating elements made of stainless steel. To ensure optimal insulation, the heater casing is layered with a 20mm non-flammable mineral wool layer. The heaters are equipped with rubber seals for airtight connections to the air ducts, enhancing their efficiency.

Flexible Mounting Options:

The heater's design allows for mounting on round ducts in various positions using the included clamps. The air flow direction should align with the arrow on the heater casing. The heater connects to the air handling unit controller using the cable with connectors. In the case of horizontal mounting, the control box should be installed with the cover facing upwards, offering a swivel range of up to 90° from the normal position. It's important not to install the control box with the cover facing downwards.
