By preheating the intake air, it maintains the duct's air temperature at a level that effectively safeguards the heat exchanger from freezing. Equipped with a power cable and a signal cable for connection to the controller of your air handling unit, the pre-heater battery is designed for ease of use. The thyristor control within the heat recovery unit regulates the pre-heater's operation by switching the full load on and off, efficiently maintaining the desired temperature. Importantly, the switching unit contains no wearing mechanical components, enhancing its durability. For added safety, the unit includes overheat thermostats with automatic restart at +50°C for main protection and manual restart at +90°C for emergency protection.

The pre-heater battery is constructed with safety and longevity in mind. It features an internally filled 20mm layer of non-flammable mineral wool for added insulation.
