Hampton by Hilton Hotels, Ealing - London - 2020

Designed by Architects Dexter Moren Associates, The Hampton by Hilton Hotels is situated on Ealing's Uxbridge Road, close to Ealing Broadway tube station. This 186 bedroom hotel consists of nine floors over a single level basement with a conservation area located to the rear of the site, the hotel’s facade will take design inspiration from natural form on a small scale.

Blauberg UK were chosen to supply three large Eurovent Certified BlauAir Air Handling Units with heat recovery; two situated on the roof of the hotel, with the third mounted in the basement.

Each unit was fitted with high efficiency EC motors to reducce overall every consumption, F7 filters to ensure 24 hour customer comfort, a heat recovery core recovering 85%+ of heat that would normally be extracted to outside and a DX heating and cooling system linked to externally mounted condensing units. An additional backup heating system was incorporated into the BlauAir heat recovery units to ensure heating in the event of a breakdown.

A particularly challenging part of the design brief was to provide a comfortable and consistent temperature. Blauberg’s unique built-in control system helped to maintain a 21 deg temperature set point thought the Hotel.
