The coupler is female (large end) and will fit outside of the ducting. Please use duct tape to join and make an air tight seal.
Flat rectangular plastic ducting is the preferred duct for most household ventilation and heat recovery systems when fitting in small spaces or ceiling voids. The smooth inner surface reduces air resistance, increasing the efficiency of your ducted system.
