Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the "Blauberg Extractor Fan Competition" (the "Competition") organized by Blauberg UK Limited, whose office is at Unit E, 99 Boston Road, Leicester, LE4 1AW ("the Promoter").
1.2. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the Competition.
2.2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
3. How to Enter
3.1. To enter the Competition, participants must:
a. Take a picture of their Blauberg Extractor Fan.
b. Share the picture on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Twitter).
c. Tag the Promoter's official social media account in the post.
d. Use the hashtag #blauberguk in the post.
3.2. Only one entry per person is permitted.
4. Competition Period
4.1. The Competition opens at the start of each calendar month and closes at the end of each calendar (the "Competition Period").
4.2. Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted.
5. Prizes
5.1. The prizes for the Competition are:
a. £500 holiday voucher.
b. Or an Apple iPad.
c. Or £100 Amazon voucher.
5.2. The prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
5.3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter based on the creativity and originality of their entry.
6.2. The winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used to enter the Competition within 30 days of the Competition closing date.
6.3. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 90 days of being notified, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
7. Publicity
7.1. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry in any publicity material, including social media, the Promoter’s website, and any other medium, without further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
8. Data Protection
8.1. The Promoter will only process personal data of entrants in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy, available at [link to privacy policy] and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by any person as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize.
9.2. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware, or software failure of any kind.
10. General
10.1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Promoter’s control.
10.2. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.3. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
